If you check out my closet, among a heaping pile of t-shirts, neutrals, and a collection of tennies, you’ll find a variety of striped clothing items. Pants, tops, tees - you name it. Though I love stripes year-round, this old classic has a fun and playful vibe that’s perfect for summer style. Throw on a striped tee and jean shorts for a casual summer look, or add a fun flare to your office wear or night-out look. Scroll to see some of my favorite striped pieces.

Having a variety of dresses for any and every occasion makes getting ready in the summer a breeze - just throw on a dress, simple jewelry, and a fun bag and you’re good to go. What am I loving for dresses this season? Patterns, belted waist ties, denim, and t-shirt dresses (no surprise here!). I’ve rounded up a bunch of dresses for everything from work to a night out - all under $50. Scroll to see my curated list of faves.

Spring Jackets You Need

5DA6B327-2840-4397-BA89-B39F792FF2B0.JPG

Lately, I’ve been super into throwing a jacket over a plain t-shirt with a fun or basic pant for a cute and easy work outfit. I like to keep my workwear professional during the spring and summer, but there’s nothing more uncomfortable than overheating at the office. To keep cool and comfortable, a lightweight fabric is key. I also love a bright color, texture, or print to mix it up (my current obsession is pin stripes). Though I love a good steal, I think splurging on a couple of timeless, versatile jackets that can be worn at the office or repurposed for a casual look is totally worth it. Desert Destination: Vacation Outfit Ideas

Seeing as we’re finally at the tail end of the insanely long winter we’ve had here in the Midwest, I’m beyond relieved to have escaped the cold, snow, and slush for a few days. Not only was the temperature change refreshing, but I loved shopping for and styling outfits for 80-degree weather again. Although shorts and swimsuits are often the first thing I think of when traveling to AZ, the desert climate calls for jackets and long pants for cool mornings and evenings. Many times, I’ve found myself with goosebumps at dinner because I didn’t pack a cute jacket to toss on over my outfit. This time, I made sure to pack a [small] variety of layers as well as a plethora of shorts and tanks. Scroll to see my warm weather outfits and inspo for your next vacay.
